Sunrise Villas

Sunrise Villas is an affordable housing development located in Paso Robles completed in March 2025. Funding for this development was provided by the San Luis Obispo County Housing Trust Fund and many dedicated partners throughout San Luis Obispo County who share a commitment to increasing access to low-income housing for seniors, veterans, and low- to very low-income individuals and families.

Developed through a collaboration between the Paso Robles Housing Authority and the Affordable Housing Development Corporation, this project offers 69 rental units comprising one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. Each unit features energy-efficient appliances, fully equipped kitchens, solid surface countertops, and hardwood-inspired finishes. Residents enjoy access to a community center with a computer lab, as well as recreational amenities such as a sports court, playground, and picnic areas.

Sunrise Villas serves residents earning between 30% and 60% of the area median income, addressing a critical regional housing need. Since opening, the development has reached full occupancy, housing approximately 289 individuals, with more than 1,000 people still on the waiting list—highlighting the growing demand for affordable housing options in Paso Robles and beyond.
